Open the task → Repeat panel. Check:
- End condition — did the *ends after N occurrences* or *ends on date* trigger?
- From due vs from completion — *from completion* only advances when you actually check it off, not when you delete or archive.
- Was the task archived? Archived recurrences pause. Un-archive to resume.
- Time zone — travelling across zones can shift a *daily* task by ±1 day for one cycle. Self-corrects the next day.
If the panel shows the rule is active and the next date is in the past, tap Regenerate next occurrence.
