Google Calendar Sync: Two-Way Setup and Common Issues

LemTask’s Google Calendar integration is a true two-way sync — tasks with due times appear as calendar events, and calendar events appear inside the LemTask Day Schedule view. Most sync issues are caused by revoked OAuth scopes, timezone mismatches, or all-day tasks (which sync differently than timed ones).

    Setup

    1. Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Connect
    2. Sign in with the Google account you want to sync
    3. Pick which calendar receives LemTask tasks (usually a dedicated *LemTask* calendar)
    4. Toggle Import events into Day Schedule if you want the reverse direction

    What syncs

    Common issues

Events not appearing on my calendar

    Times are off by hours

Timezone mismatch. Set your profile timezone in Settings → Account to match your OS.

    Sync stopped after weeks

Google expires OAuth tokens after long inactivity. Click Reconnect.

    Duplicate events

Almost always caused by connecting *two* accounts pointing at the same calendar. Disconnect one.
