Google Calendar Sync: Two-Way Setup and Common Issues

Setup

1. Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Connect
2. Sign in with the Google account you want to sync
3. Pick which calendar receives LemTask tasks (usually a dedicated *LemTask* calendar)
4. Toggle Import events into Day Schedule if you want the reverse direction

What syncs

• Tasks with a date + time → become calendar events
• All-day tasks → become all-day calendar events
• Task edits (title, time, deletion) → propagate within ~60 seconds

Common issues

Events not appearing on my calendar

• Check the target calendar in Settings → Integrations — often synced to a hidden calendar
• Task must have a time, not just a date

Times are off by hours

Timezone mismatch. Set your profile timezone in Settings → Account to match your OS.

Sync stopped after weeks

Google expires OAuth tokens after long inactivity. Click Reconnect.

Duplicate events

Almost always caused by connecting *two* accounts pointing at the same calendar. Disconnect one.
