    Agreement to Terms

    By accessing or using LemTask ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. LemTask is operated by Lem Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

    User Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

    Service Plans

    LemTask offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, you can subscribe to our Pro or Teams plans for continued access. All plans include unlimited tasks, habits, and access to our AI-powered features. We reserve the right to modify plan features, but will provide notice of any significant changes.

    Account Terms

    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
    • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
    • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
    • One person may not maintain more than one account
    • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

    Acceptable Use

    You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

    • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
    • Use the Service to transmit malware or other malicious code
    • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
    • Attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Service
    • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service

    Your Content

    You retain ownership of all content you create using LemTask (tasks, habits, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will never sell your content or use it for advertising purposes.

    Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LEM STUDIO, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

    Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, for access to the Service during the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

    Termination

    We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

    • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
    • We will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it
    • You may request a copy of your data before deletion
    • Any outstanding payments remain due

    You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

    Disclaimers

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

    Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London, United Kingdom, to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms.

    Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Service or via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
