Where assigned tasks appear:
- Tasks assigned to you show up in Today, Inbox, and Upcoming views
- Use the My Tasks vs Team Tasks toggle to filter what you see
- Sidebar counts include both owned AND assigned tasks
Assigning at creation:
When creating a team task, you'll see an inline assignee picker showing all team members. Click to select one or more people. If you don't select anyone, the task defaults to you.
Owned vs Assigned:
- Owned tasks: You created them for yourself
- Assigned tasks: A teammate delegated them to you
- You can complete and update both, but only the owner can delete
Real-time sync:
When someone assigns or unassigns a task, you see the change instantly – no refresh needed.
