Assign a task — open the task → Assignee → pick a workspace member. They get a push and email (if enabled) and the task lands in their Today view.
Delegate subtasks — expand subtasks, click the avatar chip on any row, assign independently. The parent stays with you; subtask ownership fans out.
Reassign — same picker. Previous assignee gets notified their task was moved.
Unassigned tasks in shared lists show a dashed avatar so anyone can pick them up. Great for kanban / claim-work flows.
