Async Standups: Replace the Daily Meeting With a LemTask Ritual

An async standup replaces the daily video meeting with a written update — each teammate posts what they did yesterday, what they will do today, and what is blocking them, into a shared LemTask list or thread. Well-run teams reclaim 3–5 hours per person per week without losing coordination.

The daily standup was designed for co-located teams. For distributed teams it's a tax.

    The async format

Each person posts three lines by 10am local time into a shared LemTask *Standup* list:

    1. Yesterday — what shipped
    2. Today — top 1–3 priorities
    3. Blocked — what you need from whom

    Set up in LemTask

    Why it works
