Is LemTask actually free, or is it a trial?
LemTask's free plan is free forever — no credit card, no trial countdown, no auto-conversion. You get unlimited tasks, unlimited lists, habit tracking, the Pomodoro timer, gamification, Kanban, subtasks, tags, and priority levels at no cost. Pro adds advanced analytics, higher voice transcription limits, and team features, but everything you need to run a personal productivity system is on free.
What's the catch with the free plan?
There isn't one. We monetise through Pro (advanced analytics, higher AI/voice limits, team workspaces) and Teams. The free plan stays intentionally generous because most users never need Pro — and the ones who do upgrade because the product earned it, not because they hit an artificial wall.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. The free plan never asks for payment details. You enter an email (or sign in with Google), confirm, and you're in. The only time you'd see a card form is if you choose to upgrade to Pro or Teams.
How many tasks, lists, and habits can I create on the free plan?
Unlimited tasks, unlimited lists, and unlimited habits. There's no soft cap or hidden quota — the free tier is not designed to push you to upgrade through usage limits.
Does the free plan include the AI features?
Yes, with a monthly minutes allowance for voice brain-dump transcription and AI task suggestions. Pro raises the limit if you use voice heavily. Text features (smart parsing, natural-language dates, tag inference) have no quota on free.
Can I use LemTask offline?
Yes — LemTask is a Progressive Web App. Install it from your browser, and your tasks, habits, and focus sessions work offline. Changes sync automatically the next time you're online.
